Redesign

As the lead designer, I was tasked to enhance the website's user experience, create an intuitive design, and increase conversions while showcasing the wide array of flooring options available.

The company's website was outdated with a cluttered interface, making it difficult for users to navigate. It lacked a clear call to action, product discovery was cumbersome, and the mobile experience was poor. Additionally, the brand’s visual identity wasn’t fully integrated into the website, leading to an inconsistent look and feel that weakened its connection with customers.

My approach started with a deep dive into user research and gathering inspiration on competition product websites with similar target audiences. Based on this, I began to build out potential customer journeys with wireframes in Figma. NOTE: This became my first experience using design systems and components in Figma for an actual client. It really helped me understand how to design and prototype in order to hand off to dev teams.

I do not have any quantitative data on how well the page is doing currently as it was just launched (September 2024), however, I was given feedback from an account manager that the client was more than thrilled at how quickly the project was executed and how we went above and beyond her expectations and transforming her website into a user-friendly interface and being able to convey her brand in an engaging manner.
